Despre eveniment
WHAT
Edustudio Helsinki is a non-profit association founded in Finland by a group of Romanians with experience in the Finnish pedagogy and design of educational materials. We focus on developing educational materials for Romanians worldwide, we provide training for teachers and we serve the local Romanian community in Helsinki, teaching Romanian using Finnish methods. In the context of the edu-export projects lead by Edustudio Helsinki in Romania, we identify successful tools from Finland and bring them to the Romanian audience.
One of the first projects we decided to export is LessonApp, a platform based on modern, research-based pedagogy that follows the very same principles teachers in Finland are taught during the teacher training and what they apply every day in their classrooms.
WHY
The success of Finnish education is mainly attributed to teacher training because teachers act as change agents in the system. Edustudio Helsinki wants to support lifelong learning among teachers in Romania by bringing experts from Finland to speak about the ways every teacher can develop and improve education.
HOW
The LessonApp team comes to Romania for the first time to share their expertise in continuing teacher education. They share ideas and practices which can be taken to the classroom by all teachers, regardless of the level or subject they teach. In this workshop, the LessonApp team will teach you how to design your lessons the Finnish way and you will discover the variety of teaching methods in practice.
