Despre eveniment

WHAT

Edustudio Helsinki is a non-profit association founded in Finland by a group of Romanians with experience in the Finnish pedagogy and design of educational materials. We focus on developing educational materials for Romanians worldwide, we provide training for teachers and we serve the local Romanian community in Helsinki, teaching Romanian using Finnish methods. In the context of the edu-export projects lead by Edustudio Helsinki in Romania, we identify successful tools from Finland and bring them to the Romanian audience.

One of these projects is LessonApp, a platform based on modern, research-based pedagogy that follows the very same principles teachers in Finland are taught during the teacher training and what they apply every day in their classrooms.

WHY

Finland is known for its state-of-the-art education system and outstanding results in international learning comparisons. What is not so commonly known, is that Finland is basing its education practices on scientific research and an understanding of how teaching and learning are related to each other.

HOW

We start with a short presentation about Edustudio Helsinki and the tools and materials we offer for teachers in Romania. We continue with the LessonApp team who will open a door to the Finnish classroom, pedagogy and educational system. You will learn about the everyday lessons held by Finnish teachers, teaching methods for the 21st century and practical examples.
